This is a guess but because of VISTA using MUCH of the onboard graphics memory, the game has fewer resources to now pull from, which may be causing the lag that you did not see in XP (because the graphics requirements were so much lower). I don't think as many people as they thought switched right away and there has been such a hue and crty about the problems so a game that is based on it would I have XP, and there is no way I would ever contemplate downgrading to that resource-hog Vista at any cost. Just as well really - Microsoft are charging
